Jade of Days with their signature sound, have been captivating audiences throughout the Bay Area since 2004, making them an unforgettable force in the local music scene. Dana Kelley’s emotional melodies and vocal range enhance the bands intricate sound, while the string duo of Medeiros and Candido utilize the uncommon technique of rhythmic tapping to create an original and highly regarded style. Add in the sweet melodies of Sandro Costa on keyboards and drummer Junior Medeiros’ limitless variations and technical grooves and you have an undeniable chemistry. The band combines alternative and progressive rock, while maintaining the catchy appeal of modern pop.

Due to their local popularity and distinctive talent, Jade of Days was selected as the opening act in Channel 104.9’s Day on the Meadow in 2007, sharing the stage with KungFu Vampire, Medina Lake, DJ Scotty Boy, Fountains of Wayne, and They Might Be Giants. In summer 2008, the band joined the San Jose chapter of the Your Music Magazine Olympicks, a multi-month competition spanning the Bay Area where singer Dana Kelley took Gold in the Vocalist Competition.
