Boxcar Atoms

Boxcar Atoms are Geronimo Cross, Native Brown and K-Wax the American. The three hail from the Berryessa neighborhood located in San Jose’s northeast side. Officially formed in 2004, the three have been freestyling in the Berryessa back cuts together since 1995. In the late summer of 2008, Geronimo, in true “ Do It Yourself “ fashion, released “Ashtray Days” which featured Native Brown and K-Wax the American on the songs “Pen’s Too Heavy” and the title cut, “Ashtray Days”. They’ve have opened up for such acts as, Motion Man, 2Mex, Magic Heart Genies and are a part of the collective, “San Jose Rap Vigilante Death Squad”. They are currently working on an album with Barry Bones, Tape Mastah Steph and Los Double, also from San Jose.
