Best known for their hit “Psychotic Reaction” 1966 which hit #5 in the US and #1 worldwide.

Over the years, The Count has evolved into a classic style rock and roll band that is hard to find these days.  Not having the pressure to produce mass amounts of songs (like  record companies make bands do,) they have had lots of fun working out each song so that it sounds just like they want it to.  They sound new and fresh with twists of old here and there for texture. Quoting again from writer Brad Kava’s article on the band (see San Jose Mercury News, 8/21/02, Arts & Entertainment) “A lot of the other songs have a vague Fleetwood Mac feel.  It’s classic rock at a time when people are craving just that!”
